Supplementary education & supporting the academic success of children

Supporting education and ensuring the children’s academic achievement is one of our main goals, a boarding hostel is only one aspect of Kyitsel-ling.  Extra tutors are arranged for children of all ages upon their return “home” to Kyitsel-ling from school in order to achieve this goal. These teachers offer extra guidance on difficult study topics and help students complete their schoolwork. Tibetan students have a reputation for being disciplined and capable of independent study, which is nurtured and supported by us.  There are specific times for self-study, and kids are encouraged to make self-study a habit.
